HTTP 400, authentication and identity

AUTH-014

Password does not meet the requirements.

What it means

The password is too weak, or appears in a public breach corpus. That check runs without sending the password anywhere: only a short hash prefix leaves the browser.

What to do

Choose a longer passphrase that you have not used elsewhere.

The response

Every failure arrives in this shape. The trace_id is worth keeping: it identifies the request in our logs and carries nothing about your data.
