Cookie Policy
Version 1.0, effective July 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ShiftGraph uses cookies and similar technologies. Our approach is deliberately minimal: we use only what is necessary to run the site and the product securely, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. What we use, and why
We use strictly necessary, first-party cookies (set by shiftgraph.dev, not by an advertiser) to:
- keep you signed in and maintain your authenticated session and its second-factor state (essential for the product to work);
- protect against cross-site request forgery and other security threats, and remember a device you have chosen to trust;
- remember basic preferences you set, such as light or dark appearance.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested, they do not require consent under EU/UK rules, and we do not show a consent banner for them. We may also keep server-side logs needed to operate and secure the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site or cross-context tracking, or third-party marketing or profiling technologies on our authenticated product. We do not sell or share information for behavioral advertising. Any analytics we use on the public website are privacy-preserving and first-party, configured not to track you across other sites; if that ever changes to involve non-essential cookies, we will ask for consent where the law requires it.
3. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can use browser signals such as Global Privacy Control, which we honor as an opt-out where applicable. Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Service.
4. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy; the version and effective date are shown above. Questions can be sent to privacy@shiftgraph.dev.
